On December 23rd 2008 we picked up Abby from a home in Powell TN. A few days before that I had found her on Craigslist.com. She was in need of a new home. Her previous owners could no longer afford to keep her! When we picked her up we could tell something was wrong, but we didn't know what... We have now had her for approx. 20 days and have decided that she may have been abused in some way. Not Physically, but maybe verbally or just neglected. Of course there is no way of telling for sure. She has since began to warm up to us and is one of the best dogs I know. She is a joy to have around. Before we left the previous owners home they told us that her stomach felt different and that she may be pregnant with there other Golden Retriever's puppies. Today I noticed she looked and felt bigger. Her nipples also felt larger, so I guess in time we will find out!
