Gabby is our 11 year old yorkie. Gabby is very much the terrier. She loves to kill birds, opossums, mice, anything she can get a hold of, any kind of vermin! She once killed a pidgeon on a walk and carried it home in her mouth 3 city blocks for me to see! The most favorite thing she tries to hunt is cats! You have to spell lots of things around Gabby - walk, treat, bath, leash, Daddy (if he is gone)and Dr. Dalpiaz [kidding].

Her most favorite thing to do is walk. Unlike all my other yorkies' [she is my 3rd] she has never played with chew toys or stuffed toys, all she cares about is hunting/ walking.

Recently she had to have her bottom canine teeth pulled. They held her tongue in, so now, her tongue hangs out to one side - it is really cute. She looks quite playful all the time even when she is asleep.

Gabby did have one "moment of fame". She was WJHL's Pet of the Week back when she was just a young thing. She had a hat on, yes, a hat, and her picture covered the whole TV screen.

We are so grateful to Dr.Dalpiaz for taking care of Gabby since he first came to practice in Johnson City. He saved Gabby's life from pancreatitis and from gum disease as well. He has always been there for us on the other end of the phone when we needed him and I would not go any where else! He is a wonderful vet and person and we wish he and Dr. Tom the very best in their practice at BCAH!
