This is our Gypsy, one of our two boxers, she loves to ride in the car, play keep away, and above all, snuggle! We have had her for 3 and a half years now, and she's a very loving and happy dog.
I understand the need to keep animals restrained in a neighborhood, I have small children and would not want to endanger them by having a bunch of stray dogs around. However, our boxers are kept in a fenced backyard when we are not home, and they are overall, well behaved. I was quite upset when we got a notice from animal control warning us to take care of their excessive barking. They are good watch dogs, and bark when a stranger is around, but good grief, dogs are going to bark at some point! Luckily, I am pleased to say that the anti-bark collar I bought is working really well, and I'm pretty sure the problem has been taken care of, but it broke my heart to put that thing around their necks, I know it can't be very comfortable.
